![]() If you are one of those people that carry or load FMJ for home defense (for whatever your reason is.) I strongly urge you not to use the Tula brass maxx, It isn't to be trusted. Tul Brass Maxx Scary Ammo Failure and Locked Up Glock MDPrepper 29.8K subscribers Subscribe 14K views 8 years ago Had a major failure with Tula Brass Maxx 9mm ammo. TulAmmo is made by Tula, a Russian arms company about three hours’ drive South of Moskow. It isn't super dirty, the shells look ok, but they simply aren't reliable in several peoples guns as listed above and certainly the tula doesn't run my G26 reliably. Unless, of course, you’d rather pick up some TulAmmo. If you want to buy this stuff for the range that is your choice. The Brass Maxx is a totally different product than standard Tula. The original box will always state country of origin. Not made in Russia by the Tula Cartridge Works. ![]() Maxxtech brass and Brassmaxx are names used by Tulammo for ammo made is Bosnia and Herzegovina (or wherever else they source it from). The jacket on the bullet appears to be brass instead of copper as it is the same exact color as the brass case. Just an FYI for everyone out there: Not all 'Tulammo' is made in Russia. NO ONE had a single issue with the Remington UMC ammo. I just checked some TulAmmo Brassmaxx 9mm and it does not attract a magnet at all. One failure the case started to eject but the slide closed, or didn't full open as it was ejecting and it was caught perfectly flat above the rounds in the mag holding the slide open. We each had several failures with the Tula brass max ammo. I fired 310 rounds (10 round mag, and I live in NY.) of Remington UMC bulk pack 115 grain FMJ, I had two other people (One had never shot a handgun, one has literally fired 1 handgun one time). Not to be repetitive here.I shot a 100 round plastic container of the 115 grain tulla brass max ammo yesterday through my glock 26.
